RADinfo Launches PACS Mammography Solution

RADinfo Systems has announced plans to introduce its PACS solution for mammography, known as Micro PowerPACS Mammography, during the Radiological Society of North America’s annual conference in Chicago next week. With more and more hospitals and imaging centers looking to expand into digital mammography technology, RADinfo is touting its new Micro PowerPACS as an affordable yet high-quality digital imaging option.

Micro PowerPACS reportedly allows a facility to view, manage, distribute and store digital mammography images from computed radiography, full-field digital mammography and other modalities offered by a broad range of manufacturers. The system is scalable and configurable, and has the functionality to upgrade to RADinfo’s full PowerPACS or as standalone solution that can be integrated with a third-party PACS vendor.
