Amicas to Debut Workflow, Dashboard, PACS Solutions

Amicas has announced that it will introduce the new RadStream solution, Amicas Insight Dashboards and Vision Series PACS Version 5.0 at RSNA 2006.
RadStream is designed for improved radiologist soft-copy reading productivity and communication of positive results studies. The solution, available in the first half of 2007, reportedly speeds report turnaround via workflow efficiencies gained through a multifactorial prioritization algorithm.
Amicas will also introduce Amicas Insight Dashboards, which consolidates information from both operational and clinical systems for analysis of key performance indicators pre-selected by the end user. Insight Dashboards is currently scheduled to be available in the first half of 2007.
The new Vision Series PACS Version 5.0 provides instant messaging and uses e-mail for delivering images and reports to any e-mail-enabled device. It features diagnostic capabilities, such as diagnostic support for digital mammography (pending FDA approval), 3-D capture for storage of processed images and full orthopedic templating.
