Ultrasonix Offers New Portable Ultrasound at RSNA

Ultrasonix Medical announced that it will feature its newly released Sonix CEP, a compact, portable ultrasound system designed specifically for emergency medicine, critical care and trauma situations, at RSNA 2006.
With 30 minutes of rechargeable battery life, Sonix CEP is easily portable and designed to treat multiple patients at the point of care. The scanner also features the QSonix Quick Exam Wizard for reportedly immediate access to major applications, probe selection, specific application presets and autopopulating patient data. The platform also features specialized forms, a barcode reader and onboard training videos.
