RamSoft introduced Gateway Router 4.5, featuring new upgrades to the DICOM workstation, including DICOM Storage Commitment and MPPS, along with customized routing rules.

The Gateway DICOM Router is a fully featured online DICOM archive, with a PACS engine designed to store, retrieve and archive hundreds of thousands of studies per year. The router features full TLS encryption to secure communication over the Internet to all other compliant devices and features an audit trail mechanism to let users know where studies are, and what they are doing.

With the router, patient demographics and study information can be edited right from the router’s easy-to-use search screen, designed to allow for quick and simple correction of common mistakes. By using true multithreading technology, the load a router can handle is only limited by the hardware and bandwidth it is running on.

The company also launched the Gateway Router Advanced, which inherits all the features and benefits of Gateway Router 4.5, and enables highly programmable DICOM routing scripts to adapt to any customized clinical workflow.
