At the HIMSS 2006 annual meeting, GE will showcase a number of products including: Centricity Physician Office; Centricity Enterprise EHR 8.0; and Centricity Physician Office Mobile.
This new version of Centricity Physician Office – EMR is filled with essential decision support tools for all primary care and specialty practices, including advanced functionality for pediatricians. The EMR advancements consist of advanced medication management, including dosing calculators and medical monographs that are accessible at the point of care, advanced image management and advanced growth charts.
Centricity Enterprise EHR 8.0 represents a broad-based and comprehensive upgrade to the 7.5 version, building upon the company’s experience in specialty and non-specialty settings, as well as leveraging all products within the CIS family to promote clinical enterprise workflow. Major areas of enhancement in the development of 8.0 include: census management; results review; CPOE; decision support; security; medication management; and enterprise workflow.
Centricity Physician Office Mobile allows physicians to access and manage their patient lists and schedules and to capture charges quickly and accurately from any location. Physicians can wirelessly sync or cradle their devices to connect with Centricity Physician Office. Charges captured on the device are automatically submitted, reducing the lag time between service delivery and charge posting.
