The hardware, software and required network components for each Acuity Central Monitoring Station may be configured to meet specific hospital or department needs. A minimum configuration consists of the station, modem kit, terminal server, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and Propaq monitors and/or telemetry. Features include a customized map of care unit, showing patient and equipment status and location; up to 60 patient support on one UNIX Sun Microsystem workstation; easy-to- read color graphics that indicate patient and equipment status; and user selectable screen layouts.
