October 3, 2007 - McKesson will debut its new anesthesia management solution, McKesson Anesthesia Care, alongside its Horizon Surgical Manager and Revenue Cycle Outsourcing during the American Society of Anesthesiologists show Oct. 13-17 in San Francisco.
Together the company says these solutions provide a very comprehensive anesthesia solution, enabling healthcare organizations to improve both clinical and financial operations.
This event marks the first glimpse of McKesson Anesthesia Care since the company acquired the intellectual property license for it last spring. The company says it was designed by anesthesiologists for anesthesiologists and allows for expert documentation and streamlined workflow. The solution supports fast, accurate and thorough documentation throughout the patient's case, resulting in a complete and legally sound electronic medical record.
McKesson Anesthesia Care works in conjunction with the Revenue Cycle Outsourcing professional billing services (formerly Per-Se Technologies) to help anesthesiologists optimize collections, increase revenue and manage compliance risks.
