May 21, 2008 - At ASCs 2008 last week, BREG, a division of LAM North American Inc., showcased its line of pain care solutions, including its PAIN CARE 2000 and 2000L patient-controlled infusion pumps.
The 2000 and 2000L allow patients to deliver 4 mL doses of anesthetic directly to the site of the pain, and carry 50 mL reservoirs. The 2000L includes an automatic lockout designed to prevent the delivery of another dose of medications for 30 minutes.
The pumps are lightweight, latex free and come with a patient education DVD. They also feature multiport 24-inch 16 gauge catheter that provides profusion can ban be cut to length.
