June 19, 2007—ECRI Institute (formerly ECRI) is offering hospitals a one-day pump workshop titled “Get the Facts on Acquiring Smarter Pumps” with support from Massachusetts General Hospital on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at ECRI Institute, Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Hospital staff will have an opportunity to learn from presenters who will combine clinical considerations, information from medical device evaluations, and guided interaction with devices to teach acquisition strategies.

Medical directors, clinical staff, pharmacy directors, biomedical engineers, education directors, materials managers, IT directors, and other healthcare professionals can benefit from attending this workshop.

Expert speakers will discuss: The state of the infusion technology market, the role of pumps in the field of medication safety technologies, pump evaluation and selection factors, how to assess your facility’s readiness and infrastructure requirements for implementation and clinical implications and workflow impact.
