Trends and New Technology at RSNA 2012

Trends at RSNA 2012 included software solutions to help meet Stage 2 meaningful use requirements for remote viewing of images and reports, and solutions to meet new state laws requiring reporting of breast density and patient exposure to ionizing radiation. Key new technologies introduced at this years show included a wireless ultrasound transducer, noiseless MRI system and a 640-slice CT scanner.

Highlight trends and technologies from this years show are explained in more detail in my RSNA wrap-up article, available by clicking here.

We also shot a video on the show floor where key trends and technologies are discussed, which is available by clicking here.
