The FDA approved Covidien’s contrast delivery system with radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology, integrating the technology to create a system that is designed to enhance patient safety by reducing the risk of medical errors in radiology departments.

The new Automatic Adjustable-Height Swivel WorkStation (CWT-AAHS) combines adjustable height and swivel capability, allowing users to position the height of the work surface according to their needs. The work surface and monitor have a 180-degree swivel range, and gives the option to position the computer screen so both patient and clinician can view information simultaneously.
