This oximetry platform comprises a variety of hand-held and stand-alone monitors that reportedly deliver accurate, reliable readings even during low perfusion and signal interference. The Nellcor OxiMax sensors feature several models with Losat expanded accuracy range, and also include the Max-Fast forehead sensor and Softcare nonadhesive sensors to meet special patient needs.
Most leading patient monitor manufacturers offer OxiMax compatibility with their products, making it easy to standardize on OxiMax pulse oximetry across the hospital, according to the manufacturer.
