November 16, 2007 – The Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance recently launched its new Web site, redesigned to be a resource on medical imaging and radiation therapy for MITA members, the medical community, policy-making groups and the public.
With improved navigation tools, the new MITA Web site reportedly provides visitors a wealth of useful data and information on medical imaging. Access reports on the many aspects of imaging as published in leading medical and scientific literature, read detailed statements on the value of imaging in the detection and treatment of medical conditions, and view a historic and current picture of the significant role imaging plays in overall health.
In addition, MITA members and guests can view MITA policy statements on important legislative and public health issues and will have the ability to electronically send a letter to their elected representatives in Congress.
