RamSoft announced it will be introducing an industry first medical imaging patient app, Blume powered by ChatGPT – at HIMSS 2023 in Chicago

April 14, 2023 — RamSoft announced it will be introducing an industry first medical imaging patient app, Blume powered by ChatGPT – at HIMSS 2023 in Chicago.

This new feature, driven by the AI chatbot technology of ChatGPT, allows patients to ask questions and receive quick, plain-language answers about medical imaging procedures such as MRIs, Ultrasound exams, PET/CT scans etc. This feature is expected to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes by ensuring patients are better informed about the care they are being provided.

According to Vijay Ramanathan, RamSoft CEO, “Two key factors underline the importance of addressing patient centricity. First, leveraging the widespread adoption of smartphones to enhance doctor-patient communication and second, complying with the 21st Century Cures Act which mandates that healthcare providers share images and reports with patients”.

Blume: More Than a Patient Portal

Blume empowers patients to navigate their entire healthcare journey from their smartphone. With its highly intuitive user interface, patients can easily and efficiently perform a broad range of activities including:

  • Remote completion and submission of intake forms
  • Self-scheduling and managing appointment requests
  • Check insurance eligibility
  • Securely share medical images and reports with doctors, family, or friends

Blume is available for both Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded via Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

RamSoft will be showcasing Blume with its new AI feature powered by ChatGPT, in conjunction with OmegaAI at HIMSS23. Event attendees may reserve an exclusive preview at RamSoft booth 3614. For those not attending, reserve your personal online demo.
