April 3, 2010 - Every year a multidisciplinary panel representing engineering, medicine, human-factors technology, industrial design, manufacturing, and other healthcare fields select the winner of The Medical Device Excellence Award (MDEA).

This year, the winner pf the MDEA under the radiological and electromechanical devices category was Fluke Biomedical. The company won best-in-class new TNT 12000 X-Ray Test Device. The x-ray test device earned highest marks in design, technology, innovation, user-related features, and benefits to both patients and the overall healthcare system.

The panel chose the TNT 12000 X-Ray Test Device as best-in-class for its contribution to improving patient safety, reducing cost, improving systems uptime, ease of use, and overall innovation in the field of diagnostic imaging quality assurance.
