Toshiba previewed its works-in-progress 3T MR system that combines a short bore with high homogeneity, along with the company’s patented Pianissimo technology, designed to reduce noise.
The 3T MR system will include whole-body imaging and be configured to more aggressively capture information not obtainable with 1.5T MR systems. With higher resolution images, the 3T MR system will make it possible to image finer anatomical structures while maintaining superior image quality, according to the company.
