Software transfers report measurements into PowerScribe 360 to save time, improve workflow

PACSGear ModLink Auto Completes Radiology Structured Reports

May 30, 2013 — PACSGear announced the general availability of ModLink, a software solution that transfers structured report measurements directly into PowerScribe 360 | Reporting from Nuance. By auto-populating reports with structured report values, ModLink saves valuable radiologist dictation time and reduces potential human error.

“The response to ModLink has been incredible. Our customers immediately see how ModLink makes reporting more accurate and efficient,” said Eli Rapaich, PACSGEAR’s CEO. “We have installed ModLink at five customer sites, and are pleased to move forward with the general availability of this product,” Rapaich said.

“ModLink has become an invaluable workflow tool in our ultrasound practice. I now spend more time looking at images and less time worrying that my numeric data is accurately transferred to my patients' reports,” said Randall W. Snyder, III, M.D., chief of Ultrasound at South Jersey Radiology Associates. “I cannot imagine going back to reporting without it,” Snyder said.

ModLink will be featured in PACSGEAR’s booth #408 at the SIIM 2013 Annual Meeting in Dallas from June 6 – 8, 2013.

PACSGEAR provides image connectivity solutions for medical image management (picture archive and communications system) and electronic health record (EHR) systems to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
