MOSAIQ Makes an IMPAC with OIMS

IMPAC Medical Systems Inc., an Elekta Inc. company, promotes its new MOSAIQ oncology information management system at ASTRO 2008.

MOSAIQ, which incorporates Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft .NET technology, a new software architecture and a new user interface designed to improve oncology workflow automation, enables clinicians to centralize computerized physician order entry capabilities (CPOE), create and customize disease-specific patient assessments, apply voice recognition with structured noting and generate consultative report templates from within a single database.

MOSAIQ also supports ongoing evaluation and management documentation, and access to on-line clinical images. MOSAIQ’s workflow automation tools take full advantage of the system’s integrated clinical and administrative database to assure accuracy and efficiency in maintaining patient schedules, capturing billable services and supplies, generating claims and managing remittance.
