Reg Refine's newest application allows users to tackle tough deformations

MIM Software Highlights Deformable Breakthrough for HDR

August 6, 2013 — MIM Software Inc. announced newest application yet for Reg Refine in radiation oncology: dose deformation for high-dose rate (HDR) and external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) treatment plans.

Combined with MIM’s recently enhanced Biological Effective Dose modeling tools, the toughest radiation dose accumulation cases are now possible. Reg Refine (patent pending) is a deformable accuracy evaluation and correction tool that allows users to tackle the toughest deformations with confidence and detect and correct deformable errors in areas of interest.  It also allows multi-modality deformation, including deformation from diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) to HDR planning computed tomography (CT).
