WorkstationOne

May 26, 2009 - Metaltronica, S.r.l. and Three Palm Software today announced that they have signed a partnership agreement, in which Metaltronica will distribute Three Palm Software’s WorkstationOne and CadOne products as part of its digital mammography product suite.
Under this agreement, Metaltronica will have an exclusive right to distribute Three Palm Software’s products to Metaltronica customers and Metaltronica distributors worldwide. As part of this collaboration, Three Palm Software is developing a number of specific features to optimize use with Metaltronica’s digital mammography system.
“We are looking forward to a long and prosperous cooperation with Three Palm Software,” said Stefano Gioia, technical manager at Metaltronica. “This partnership will allow us to offer a suite of exclusive options for our new digital mammography system. Three Palm Software’s extensive experience and expertise in this domain, allows us to compete with our larger competitors.”

Metaltronica is now introducing a digital mammography product that competes with much larger companies. HELIANTHUS is a complete mammography solution optimized for digital imaging in breast cancer screening and diagnostic procedures. HELIANTHUS can be purchased with an optional professional workstation – which is WorkstationOne from Three Palm Software. Mammography computer-aided detection is another option with the purchase of HELIANTHUS, and this software option is the CadOne system from Three Palm Software. A tomosynthesis option will be available in a later release.
WorkstationOne is a full-featured breast imaging workstation, with an emphasis on efficient reviewing workflow and expert viewing methodologies such as Tabar’s systematic viewing masks. WorkstationOne supports IHE mammography image profile and the display of CAD markers as well as GSPS graphic annotation. WorkstationOne is a software product that can be installed on an off-the-shelf general purpose computer with one or two gray-scale high resolution monitors and one color monitor.
