MEDRAD Injection System Senses Media Pooling, Stops Injection

The MEDRAD Stellant CT Injection System provides saline flush capabilities and protocol options.

The MEDRAD Avanta is an advanced fluid management system that is reportedly flexible enough for multiple cardiac imaging applications.

It is intended to inject contrast in variable mode at low flow rates and low pressures for coronary and small vessels, fixed mode at high flow rates and high-pressure injections for larger vessels and peripherals and fixed mode for saline flushing.
