VuComp Inc. announced that it has submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) its premarket approval application (PMA) for computer-aided detection (CAD) for digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT).

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Siemens Healthcare’s 3-D mammography, breast tomosynthesis imaging system. This marks the 3-D mammography vendor to enter the U.S. market. 

Hologic, Inc. issued the following statement today on the draft 2015 guidelines for breast cancer screening published this week by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF).
