December 30, 2014Medic Vision Imaging Solutions, Ltd., announced that Hisense Medical Equipment Co. chose to partner with the company for the integration of SafeCT technology with its advanced medical solutions. Medic Vision’s SafeCT, a universal 3-D iterative image reconstruction system, enhances CT images acquired with low-dose protocols on conventional scanners. The integrated Medic Vision – Hisense products are set to be launched in 2015.

Medic Vision’s image reconstruction technology will be paired with medical display and 3-D model reconstruction expertise from Hisense to develop advanced visualization solutions for radiologists and physicians including for diagnosis and preoperative planning and simulation. The unified system reconstructs and displays 3-D models of organs such as the liver or kidney, for preoperative surgical assessment.

The Hisense medical displays, supported by SafeCT’s 3-D image reconstruction, will deliver advanced diagnostic performance while maintaining significant cost-effectiveness.

The Hisense medical displays were showcased at the Medic Vision Booth at RSNA 2014.
