February 20, 2020 — Mach7 announced its partnership with Altamont Software to help accelerate the adoption of enterprise image integration in healthcare organizations. Altamont Software develops next-generation medical image connectivity software for the PACS and EHR marketplace. Altamont’s zero-footprint solution, CaptureWare, allows Mach7’s Enterprise Imaging Platform (EIP) to ingest more DICOM and/or non-DICOM data from various sources in a facility.
Altamont will enhance the Mach7 EIP with Altamont’s functions that include:
- Scan, which will allow paper documents to be scanned and imported into the Mach7 EIP, helping complete and compile a patient’s record.
- HTML5-based CD import and advanced CD Burning, which will give the Mach7 EIP expanded capabilities for importing CDs and burning multiple CDs using a CD printer, as opposed to one at a time.
- Print to DICOM, this feature adds a windows printer driver to client systems that allows anyone to virtually print any document to the Mach7 EIP and associate it with a patient record.
