Diagnostic-quality zero-footprint viewer provides server-side rendering for fast access to large files and enhanced cybersecurity

September 11, 2017 — Konica Minolta will highlight its Exa Enterprise Imaging platform at the 2017 annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Nov. 26-Dec. 1 in Chicago.

Exa Enterprise Imaging offers:

  • A diagnostic-quality zero-footprint universal viewer for DICOM and non-DICOM images, including nuclear medicine, echocardiograms, and cardiac and holter monitoring data;
  • Server-side rendering, for fast access to large files, such as 3-D breast tomosynthesis, with no prefetching or dedicated workstation required; and
  • Cybersecurity with no data transferred to or stored on workstations.

Exa facilitates the sharing of multispecialty medical images and reports via referring physician and patient portals while enabling the use of computerized physician order entry (CPOE). Exa’s custom workflow engine design and reporting dashboard set the product apart from competitors, according to Konica Minolta. Users can customize their workflow with an easy-to-use drag-and-drop functionality while gathering reports on the dashboard on data such as daily exam volume and radiologist performance. The tools are designed to provide the facility maximum business efficiency.
