Global research and consulting firm highlights ability of Intelerad’s living medical archive to respond to evolving market needs

Frost & Sullivan Research Highlights Benefits of Intelerad's CosmosOne

October 23, 2017 — Intelerad Medical Systems has been highlighted for its innovative approach to medical image data management in new research published by Frost & Sullivan. The report, Developments at the Cutting Edge of Multimedia Healthcare Data Management Platforms, looks at the attributes of state-of-the-art, third-generation vendor-neutral archives (VNA).

In particular, the Frost & Sullivan report credits CosmosOne, Intelerad’s living medical archive, for going beyond the offerings of third-generation VNAs and responding to evolving and largely unmet market needs, such as greater reliability, clearer lines of accountability and constructive partnership potential. As Nadim Daher, Frost & Sullivan’s industry principal for medical imaging and imaging informatics, stated in the report:

“The flexible, modular, customizable and dynamic capabilities of the CosmosOne platform put it at the leading edge of state-of-the-art solutions. Considering what a truly best-of-breed solution would look like, CosmosOne combines Intelerad’s own innovative technology with those of carefully selected partners to offer the ideal integrated solution. Just as important as the platform’s advanced functionality is the fact that it can be delivered and supported by Intelerad as a single vendor.”

Released in May 2017, CosmosOne provides access to patients’ complete medical records, making it the perfect companion for Intelerad’s workflow and enterprise viewing solutions, according to the company. The solution is highly scalable and flexible, always up-to-date and provides reliable business continuity and data resilience.
