December 7, 2022 — Carestream Health exhibited its expanding portfolio of new products and enhanced solutions at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago. With a proven history of delivering innovative, industry-leading medical imaging solutions—built on a century-long foundation of research and science—the company showcased its medical imaging solutions (see video link) that help improve clinical outcomes, streamline imaging workflow and lower costs, with quantifiable benefits for providers and patients alike.

“Our goal is to deliver solutions that solve customer challenges,” said Brian Calderbank, Global Marketing Director at Carestream. “We deeply value our relationships with our customers and are thankful to everyone who met with us at RSNA to learn how we can help them improve patient care, and to share their insights and observations. We pay close attention to these conversations as we develop new solutions for the future.”

Carestream’s most recent innovations showcased at RSNA were:

  • Carestream Focus HD 35 and Focus HD 43 detectors that deliver superb image quality while making image capture more efficient and reliable.
  • The Carestream DRX-LC Detector (INVESTIGATIONAL – NOT AVAILABLE FOR COMMERCIAL SALE) that is designed to capture a full long-length image in a single exposure to minimize dose and mitigate motion artifact that can result from patient movement with a multi-shot exam.
  • Enhancements to the Carestream DRX-Evolution Plus that provide improved workflow for the radiographer.
  • New features in the Carestream DRX-Excel Plus that provide a better staff experience with faster workflow and better diagnostic image quality.

Also displayed at RSNA were ImageView Software powered by Eclipse for unrivaled image-processing capabilities, utilizing proprietary algorithms and artificial intelligence to amplify the value of the entire imaging chain; DRX-Compass X-ray System; DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray System; and the company’s complete portfolio of DR detectors including the award-winning Lux Detector.
