Support for Breast Tomosynthesis Expands

November 17, 2010

Three Palm Software’s mammography reading software, WorkstationOne, has features that include: support for standard DICOM digital breast tomosynthetis (DBT) format, synchronized cine of DBT views in different viewports, 3-D navigation rendering associated with each DBT viewport and simultaneous use of DBT tools while using the images as part of the normal reading workflow (e.g., cine of a DBT image can remain running while the user navigates a routine viewing and hanging protocol sequence, such as systematic masking).

This upgrade also includes multi-reader/multi-site reading support with automatic arbitration rules and manual over-ride, and extensive support for clinical study data collection. These capabilities build on the existing WorkstationOne, which is a full-featured breast imaging workstation with an emphasis on efficient reviewing workflow and expert viewing methodologies.
