Solution is offered as full system or retrofit kit

MobileArt Evolution EFX AeroDR-i, Konica Minolta, Shimadzu, portable X-ray

March 4, 2015 — Konica Minolta Medical Imaging and Shimadzu Medical Systems USA announced a new, integrated portable X-ray solution, the MobileArt Evolution EFX AeroDR-i. This portable solution is now available with a larger integrated console, and a 17-inch touchscreen monitor. The integrated console-mounted system offers a larger viewing area to simplify operation and enhance clinical confidence. A larger console now provides additional space for accessories and storage, along with a detector slot that facilitates bagging and cleaning of the AeroDR panel.

The Konica Minolta AeroDR Portable Integrated Mount Kit with 17-inch touch monitor is also available as a retrofit kit to upgrade existing Mobile Art Evolution portable systems. The kit offers multiple flat panel detector (FPD) choices for a variety of uses and purposes, including AeroDR XE HQ and standard resolution 14x17-inch size, as well as a smaller 10x12-inch HQ FPD for pediatric NICU, or dual FPD solutions.

The CS-7 portable control station delivers an easy-to-use, common interface on a 17-inch screen that facilitates easier viewing for more patient-centric workflow and assures high image quality. Three-second preview streamlines workflow while the lightweight, cable-free operation allows for easy image detector positioning while reducing patient discomfort and stress during portable procedures.
