Image Systems diagnostic displays now include features for non-distracted focus on user-selected regions of interest and more ergonomic cursor movements

Richardson Healthcare, Image Systems N-Series diagnostic displays, productivity tools, RSNA 2016

November 23, 2016 — Richardson Healthcare will be showing new enhancements to its CFS Calibration Software and Image Systems N-series diagnostic displays at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA 2016), Nov. 27-Dec. 1 in Chicago. Meeting offerings will include new productivity tools for radiologists and conformance/compliance tools for picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) administrators and physicists.

New productivity tools on the Image Systems diagnostic displays, such as PinPoint and CursorGenie, enhance productivity and improve the viewing experience for the radiologist. PinPoint enables non-distracted focus on user-selected regions of interest, and CursorGenie eliminates frustrations and reduces the time spent on cursor movements in multi-monitor environments.

Self-calibration features and conformance/compliance tools with enhanced reporting enable administrators to easily show how diagnostic displays are performing properly, and a new portable version of CFS utilized by Richardson’s TekLink service team enables compliance testing of any brand of display monitor used for diagnostic imaging.

Additional show highlights include:

  • An integrated radiology reading station featuring Image Systems 5MP Color displays (C5MPn) that can view all types of imaging modalities and a new mammographic PACS workstation computer solution by Singular Medical Technologies, all paired with Ergotron’s Anthro Carl’s Table and ergonomic chair;
  • A portable reading station for emergency department use featuring two Image Systems 3MP Color (C3MPn) displays, dual Singular Medical computers to interface to PACS and cardiology, batteries and an Ergotron portable cart;
  • Cost-saving replacement parts and training for major brands of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment via the company’s International Medical Equipment and Service (IMES) brand; and
  • A digital radiography (DR) upgrade solution for migrating from analog or computed radiography to digital radiography.
