January 15, 2014 — Radcal Corp. announced partnership with its French distributor, Medi Test, which opened up its own certified calibration and repair facility, Medix Lab, June 2013.

Radcal announce the official launch of its newly authorized calibration and service facility in Buc, France, providing certified calibrations and service to Europe other continents. Medix Lab was unveiled at the French Society of Medical Physicists (SFPM) conference, which has been set up in partnership with the CEA/LNE-LNHB, France’s primary national metrology laboratory for ionizing radiation.

Medi Test is now able to offer service in France in its own laboratory in Buc (Yvelines).  Medix Lab, accredited by the CEA/LNE-LNHB, provides access to calibrations, is the only private secondary metrology laboratory for low-energy ionizing radiation in the French market and provides calibration certificates that meet all regulatory requirements. “This partnership, with our present distributor Medi Test to form Medix Lab, helps to provide certified calibrations to our European and Middle Eastern customers,” said Pat Pyers, vice president of sales, marketing and business development, Radcal.
