December 15, 2010 – The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences is partnering with Block Imaging to promote refurbished medical imaging equipment in Canada. The partnership will also explore the development of educational offerings directed towards medical imaging technologies.

It will present refurbished medical imaging equipment options to Canadian markets as an economical alternative for expanding diagnostic imaging capacity. The partnership will also provide Canadian hospitals and imaging centers with a reliable option for selling their pre-owned systems at fair prices with professionally managed removals.

Through this partnership, Canadian hospitals and imaging centers will have access to a global network of refurbished MRIs, CTs, PET/CTs, C-Arms, X-ray, and women's health systems. Additional resources include an extensive parts inventory as well as 24/7 imaging equipment service coverage through Block Imaging's Flex Service program.?
