The CyberKnife S7 stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) system empowers clinicians to confidently deliver personalized treatments to more patients. The Radixact System treats a broad range of indications with ClearRT integrated 3D kVCT image guidance, Synchrony AI-driven, real-time target tracking with dynamic delivery, and VOLO Ultra optimization. As the only helical treatment delivery system, it provides image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), featuring best-in-class clinical workflows and highly conformal treatments enabled by a unique ultra-fast multi-leaf collimator (MLC) for precise delivery of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and image-guided intensity modulated (IMRT) treatments.

Accuray Inc. announced recently that the Heidelberg University Hospital in Heidelberg, Germany, and Oscar Lambret Cancer Center in Lille, France, are the first in the world to connect both their Accuray CyberKnife and TomoTherapy platforms to the iDMS Data Management System. The two facilities are now able to benefit from a centralized database that shares and makes data accessible across the radiation therapy treatment delivery platforms, adding flexibility and improving efficiency in their radiation therapy departments.

Accuray Inc. announced that data from a prospective study of 230 men with low-risk prostate cancer showed 98.4 percent had local disease control 10 years after receiving stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) administered with the CyberKnife System, and toxicity was mild. The study titled, “Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy for Low-Risk Prostate Cancer: A Ten Year Analysis,” was published online in the Sept. 9, 2017 issue of Cureus.

Accuray Inc. announced that data and first-hand experience with its advanced CyberKnife and Radixact Systems will be shared by leading radiation oncology practitioners at the 2017 American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting, Sept. 24-27 in San Diego.

Accuray Inc. and the Summit Cancer Center-Boise announced that the center is now treating patients with the Radixact Treatment Delivery System, the next-generation TomoTherapy platform. The Radixact System replaced a competitive conventional linear accelerator in the single-vault freestanding facility.

Accuray Inc. announced that the first studies validating the benefits of the Radixact System were presented at the 59th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), held July 30-Aug. 3 in Denver. This smart radiation therapy system represents the next generation in TomoTherapy treatment delivery, significantly increasing treatment speed and ease of use, according to Accuray. The Radixact System enables clinicians to treat a wide range of cancer cases, from initial plan delivery to adaptive therapy to complex retreatments, with precision and increased efficiency.

Accuray Inc. and Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care (MECCC), part of the Montefiore Health System (MHS), announced that Montefiore doctors have treated the first cancer patients in New York with the advanced Radixact Treatment Delivery System. The system was designed to deliver image-guided intensity-modulated (IG-IMRT) radiation therapy, an extremely precise form of radiation therapy. Montefiore is the only hospital in New York State, and in the greater New York area, to have this equipment.

Accuray Inc. announced that the University Cancer Institute of Toulouse Oncopole (IUCT Oncopole) in Toulouse, France, is providing advanced radiation treatments to cancer patients using the smart Radixact Treatment Delivery System, the first to be installed in France. The IUCT Oncopole began treating patients in January with this new system, designed to deliver image-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IG-IMRT), an extremely precise form of radiation therapy.
