Radiometer's ABL80 FLEX Provides Lab-quality Glucose POC analyzer

September 18, 2007

September 18, 2007 - Radiometer has announced the availability of a glucose test on its ABL80 FLEX blood gas analysis system.

The test deliverers superior accuracy, stability and interference-free glucose performance in a portable STAT analyzer. The analyzer’s glucose sensor demonstrates a wide measuring range (0-75 mmol/L) and exceptional linearity. Extremely stable, the sensor cassettes require no special handling and can be stored at room temperature.

Consistent with Radiometer’s standards for interference-free performance, the ABL80 FLEX glucose sensor demonstrates non-interference (< |0.1| mmol/L) from common therapeutic substances.

The ABL80 FLEX uses a sample volume of 70 µL of whole blood, and takes 100 seconds from result to result.
